Our goal for this years Gala was to find a way to incorporate interior design with the arts and also the students. The past few weeks Kellie Hamre and I spent time in Kindred educating the students on all things interior design. We then split them into two groups to create a mood board for a dining space and a seating area based on two different art pieces from local artists. We then went to White House Co. to find furniture and accessories to design the two spaces.
It was such a fun experience talking with the students, getting to see their design ideas come to life & see the final product at the Gala.
